As a celebrant I have the greatest privilege of working with families to capture the very essence of their person and tell the story of the life that has been lived. I pride myself on my ability to be able to connect with people and put them at ease at what can be a very difficult time. I have over 20 years\u2019 experience of writing and storytelling for charities, government and some of our most loved brands. I use the same listening and creative skills required then to more meaningful effect now in creating fitting final farewells for your most loved people. Whether that\u2019s in a crematorium, natural burial ground or any other venue of your choosing. <\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n

I will work with you with great sensitivity and empathy to create a truly personal funeral ceremony that captures the essence of the person you have lost. Their unique story will be told, and you will be able to celebrate and share the life that they have lived. I will meet with you at your home, or another suitable location, to discuss the ceremony fully. I will plan and write a ceremony based on the information you provide. You will be able to check and agree all the content beforehand to ensure everything is correct. I will liaise with the Funeral Director and the venue about all aspects of the ceremony. I will offer you a presentation copy of the ceremony to keep afterwards.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n

The ceremony can include religious content or be completely secular. I will help you find readings, poems and music that will enrich the ceremony, and reflect the values and views of your loved one. Some families will know exactly what they want the ceremony to feature and may wish to write and deliver much of it themselves. For others, family and friends may not even know where to begin. That’s fine too. I can do and say as much or as little as you want. Whatever your individual situation, together we will craft a meaningful ceremony that honours the person you have lost, reflects your wishes, and creates comfort and community for those left behind.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n

I am a qualified Funeral Celebrant. I have successfully completed and passed the NOCN Level 3 Diploma in Funeral Celebrancy, the highest possible qualification in Funeral Celebrancy in the UK. I am also a member of the Association of Independent Celebrants and have adopted the Celebrant’s Accord. Together this means you can have every confidence in me to create and deliver the funeral you are arranging.
