Entrusted with telling people’s stories.

I became a celebrant in 2021, having come across the role when organising my dad’s funeral a few years previously. I go into more detail on why I became a celebrant in my blog post.

Before becoming a celebrant, I spent over 20 years devising and delivering events and communications for charities, Government and large corporate businesses. Crafting and curating exclusive dinners, large-scale conferences or awards ceremonies, and telling a business or brand’s story to thousands of people.

I didn’t know it then, but the combination of knowing what makes an event unforgettable, the ability to manage logistics, and experience of writing and delivering meaningful content that connects with an audience, have all led to me being an authentic, warm and unflappable celebrant.

But for me, it’s always been about people – connecting with people and building relationships. I’ve always prided myself on excellent client satisfaction. With love, empathy, and humour, I listen to clients and  help to turn their hopes, dreams and ideas into an ceremony they can be proud of.

What’s my celebrant style?

I’m passionate about individuals being able to have a ceremony that is all about them. My style is contemporary, yet traditionally inspired. I strive to create ceremonies threaded with joy, humour and YOUR personality and beliefs throughout. Compassionate, authentic and inclusive.

Clients say I am fun to work with and utterly dependable. I have the highest standards and am warm, professional and unflappable. I love what I do, and do it with sincerity, inclusivity, and authenticity. I provide a safe, stress-free space for you to celebrate the big moments in your life.
