As your celebrant, I promise to ensure that your ceremony is all of those things and more. I can guide and support your vision, allowing you to get creative, and, working with you, craft a ceremony that is unique to you and you loved ones.  I will work with you to create words, vows and a ceremony that reflects you, articulated with love, empathy and humour.

Whether you are looking for traditional, or quirky, have a clear vision for your day, or need some guidance and inspiration, the beauty of a celebrant-led ceremony is that here is no limit to what you can do. Sometimes, lots of thought goes into the aesthetic and styling of the ceremony area but not so much the content. I can make sure that doesn’t happen, that your wedding ceremony is more than just saying ‘I do’, it tells your story and is totally fitting for you and your day.

You can choose the time of your ceremony – including sunrise, sunset, midnight. You get to pick the right place to hold your ceremony – that could be inside a favourite restaurant or pub which doesn’t have a marriage license, your home, or perhaps a garden or a barn, anywhere that holds a special meaning for you. You can include songs, or readings that say something about you both. Or maybe you want to have a handfasting ritual or a sand ceremony. I can help you to navigate what is right for you and create the perfect ceremony, a truly beautiful lasting for everyone involved.

All the ceremonies I produce are highly personalised and written to reflect who you are. I love getting to know the couples and families that I work with in order to ensure that your ceremony exceeds your expectations… and surprises and delights your guests too! So, what happens next?

Each ceremony takes at least 20 joy-filled hours of research, writing, meetings and preparation before the big day! I write each script from scratch based upon our conversations and your quiz responses. There’ll be no formulaic registrar’s wording here! Every element of your ceremony is well thought through to reflect YOU!

Vow Renewals

Vow renewal ceremonies can be a beautiful way for couples to show how much love they have for one another. They can be as unique and magical as the relationship and individuals that are recommitting themselves to each other. Let your imaginations run wild!

Whether you want to express your love to each other again as part of a landmark anniversary, to have the wedding you never had the first-time round, or perhaps as time and your relationship has moved on, you want to make your vows more relevant – you deserve your vow renewal to be unique and meaningful to you. As well as the telling of your love story for all to cherish, your ceremony could include exchanging rings again or the involvement of your children and grandchildren. You can have your dream day, at a location entirely of your choosing, with your celebrant’s guidance and support.

The Process – Weddings and Vow Renewals

  • Introductory consultation meeting – let’s chat and make sure we are an amazing fit for each other.
  • I will send you a short couples questionnaire that helps me to gather the important pieces of information that will help me to craft your ceremony.
  • Face to face get together (at the venue would be amazing!) to talk more about your plans and ideas for the ceremony. I will get you know you better before I go away and write your totally bespoke, high quality script. 
  • You will be fully involved in approving the final script.
  • Unlimited contact throughout process.
  • I can advise on venue planning, music, timing and photography and planning the legal aspects of your marriage.
  • On the big day, I will arrive early to ensure everything is set up correctly – so you can thoroughly enjoy the ceremony stress free. I will work with your photographer and videographer to ensure your ceremony shots are stunning.
  • I give you a presentation copy of your ceremony script for you to reminisce and enjoy.

Terms of Payment:

  • A booking fee of 50% of the total fee is payable to confirm your booking. The remaining balance is due 12 weeks prior to your ceremony or on production of the final script (whichever is sooner).
  • Ceremonies booked within 12 weeks of delivery require full payment at the time of booking.
  • All fees are non-refundable.
  • Further details are included in the contract to be signed on booking.
